Baby Ryder is doing well. The Stocking finally met with the cranio-facial specialist and have to return for a surgery date later this month. Serina and Ryan have been diligently praying for the right surgeon for Ryder, so please keep them in prayer about that. The surgeons are most concerned with Ryders weight. As soon as he is 10lbs he's ready for surgery. Serina's plan is to plump that little man up!
Ryder is growing, he is so long and becoming so much more alert. He's peeing, pooping, eating and keeping the family busy.
This past week Serina ventured out by herself with the baby for the first time and she did great. As a new momma, that first attempt to go out of the house for a simple errand (which pre-baby would take 10 min, but now took 30 min) is always unpredictable. Thanks be to God, both Serina and the baby did well.
Thank you to all who provided food for the Stockings this past week. I was personally blessed by her neighbors and friends who showed their love and support, that I can only imagine how incredibly grateful they were.
Please just continue in diligent prayer over Ryder's weight gain, surgery dates and doctors. Please pray for discernment for Ryan and Serina. That they may have a peace, and are in God's will in all that they choose for Ryder. That they don't second guess themselves and that affirmation is spoken softly just as God has done in the past for them. Their journey has just barely begun.
