Teefers

Ryder Jeremiah has been teething this past week. Poor little guy. You can tell he's so uncomfortable! He's had a low grade fever, ranging between 99-101, for the past couple of days, he's fussy and he wants to cuddle (which isn't Ryder-like). I'll take all of the cuddles I can get, but I could do without the tears.

Ryder Jeremiah's soothing blankets are his burp cloths - you can usually spot a white burp cloth in most of his photos. He's slept with a burp cloth ever since he was born and we are never without one, especially now that he's teething - he drools like crazy! While teething he'll grab his burp cloth, stuff it in his mouth and bite down on it with all of his might. I feel so bad for him! We've tried almost every teething remedy - teething tablets, meds. cold/warm towels, teethers, Sophies, teething beeds, soothing necklaces etc., he seems to only want his burp cloths.

Yesterday we were cuddling on the couch and I was soaking up EVERY wonderful minute of it! While cuddling, daddy walked into the house from work and Ryder lit up like a Christmas tree!

Silver lining? Ryder will be able to put all of those teeth to good work after his palate surgery! Wahoo!

Can you guess when Ryder saw daddy?!?!

Don't mind the bags under my eyes - we aren't getting much sleep with all of these teefers coming in.
