More Than A Toy!

This ride-on-car is more than a toy, it's a special gift filled with so much love and memories! My Ampa, which is my grandfather (my mom's dad) purchased this special toy, at a garage sale, nearly 8 years ago. It was purchased for Ryder's oldest cousin, Kaleb, when he was just a baby. Kaleb is now 7 years old and this toy has been passed on from great grandchild to great grandchild, with it holding so much love and many memories! Ampa, who now lives in a senior living home, due to Alzheimer's, would garage sale every weekend picking up gifts and special items with what little money he had. He would get on his bike and bike ride from garage sale to garage sale fitting as many loving purchases he could load onto his bike. Oh how this memory brings me to tears! Alzheimer's may try and steal my Ampa's memories but it will NEVER steal his heart! Oh how we love you Ampa and oh how I love seeing Ryder enjoy this toy! Your giving heart continues to give and it will forever give as more great grandchildren will continue to enjoy this special toy, this special gift!  We love you Ampa! 

After 8+ years the beeping horn still works! 

Yes! I am his favorite grandchild. He's admitted that several times to me.  Alzheimer's hasn't stolen that precious memory.....he still knows I'm his favorite!
