Ryder had another exciting night last night. He's turned into quite the night owl and went to sleep around 10pm. Pre-surgery he was asleep by 6:30pm/7pm and wouldn't wake up for 10-12 hours. These days, we're lucky if we get 6 hours of straight sleep. Baby steps. Literal baby steps. On a brighter note, Ryder's eating more (still limited to mashed foods) and because he's eating more, he's in better moods. Yay! We have a couple of doctor appointments this week. We see the ENT tomorrow and his plastic surgeon on Wednesday. Praying all goes well!
"How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;" Psalm 139:17-18

Hot Sunday
So much for fall weather. It was hot today! It's been hot all week! I had grandiose plans of heading to a pumpkin patch today, enjoying the falling leaves at the RSM lake and dressing in warm, fall-like clothes. Instead, we walked to Rocktoberfest over at Rancho Santa Margarita Central Park and lasted all of five minutes before started to melt. We had to stop by Target just to cool off! Ryder sure enjoyed getting out of the house though....even if it was 95 degrees outside.
