Daddy!

Ryder Jeremiah loves his daddy! He's obsessed with him! He claps when daddy returns home from work. He looks for him when he hears his voice over the phone.  He runs to him whenever he's within sight. Everything about daddy makes Ryder J light up like a Christmas tree and I wouldn't have it any other way. 

On Saturday afternoon, Ryder J was running back and forth from sliding glass door to sliding glass door watching his daddy do yard work outside. All of a sudden I see Ryder point and say "ah-ee". At first I wasn't quite sure what I was hearing but after a few points and yells, I realized that he was saying "daddy!"  Because of Ryder's speech challenges, he can't pronounce the "d" sounds but we're working on it. For now, we'll take "ah-ee" and all of it's perfect preciousness!  

Of course I immediately swooped Ryder up and threw a word party for him! I was so excited to hear him say "daddy"! What a milestone this is for all of us! With tears running down my face we ran outside to celebrate with daddy. Oh how perfectly precious our Super Ryder is!! 

Daddy is also the tickle monster. 

If Ryder only knew that we look at him the exact same way he looks at his daddy! He's our super hero!
