Speech

Ryder Jeremiah officially started his speech therapy sessions yesterday. He will go twice a week for 1 hour sessions. At just under 17 months it's pretty amazing at what they can teach these little ones. Ryder J tries so very hard to say certain words, make certain sounds and pronounce certain consonants but he struggles. So far he's only mastered the "ma" and "la" sounds. He signs incredibly well and can say a variety of things with sign language be we are trying to get him to rely less on signing and more on trying to make sounds. I have zero doubt that he'll be talking up a storm in no time! If anyone can do it, it's our super Ryder who never fails to amaze us with his strength and reselience.
